I am not one of these people. I sometimes have turkey on Thanksgiving, and then have another sometime in the spring. Irrespective of how well I plan, I always end up with added turkey that I know what to do it. I am getting a bird that’s much bigger than what we need, and the leftovers appear to be overwhelming. Maybe this is why most of us only have a turkey a couple of times a year. Knowing what to do with the turkey afterwards can be tricky, but all you need are some good recipes for turkey. You might be shocked at the number of recipes for turkey there are out there. If you search thru some of the cooking web sites on the web, you’re going to find a lot of great ideas. The difficulty is that many times after we’ve had a giant turkey dinner we do not need to look at turkey any more. You should freeze some of your turkey meat, and then put aside some recipes for turkey to be used in 2 weeks. You could also need to discover how to safely freeze turkey, and how long that turkey will be good. When it comes to recipes for turkey in my home, there are simply a couple easy ones that I use. My hubby completely loves cold turkey sandwiches. There are 2 different recipes for turkey sandwiches that I use. One is extremely simple that my five-year-old can do it. All you need is 2 pieces of bread, a layer of mayo, and some turkey. You put it together in a sandwich with a little salt, and you have a great meal. You might also make turkey salad much like you would make chicken salad. This is something that my partner handles, so I could not tell you ways to make it. One of the other recipes for turkey I use is one to make turkey and biscuits. This is much like chicken and biscuits, but you use turkey instead a chicken. There are some other great recipes for turkey out there, all you have to do is look. What you need to make will rely on your cooking ability, and how much time you’re willing to put into the undertaking. Remember that you do not have to use all of your turkey up right away, as it is safe to freeze turkey for a period. So long as you can do so safely, you have some great turkey ideas for months after you’ve cooked the tangible turkey.
