The art of decorating cakes takes place when a man or woman has turned the kitchen into an art studio.     A good simple explanation that might help someone who has looked at decorated cakes but never tried themselves.
    I would like to correct just one part that is misleadin. The part listing the type of icing that can be used to decorate cake, list *royal fondant* – there is no such icing. There is *royal icing* and there is *rolled fondant*, to give RTR (Ready To Roll) icing the US name, but no royal fondant. As royal icing and RTR icing have no resemblence to each other it is worth the beginner understanding that rather than searching for something they will not find.
    There are enough new terms to learn for the novice sugar art practitioner, so adding to them is not a good idea.
