How would you like to make someone feel special and make them smile with the help of your kids? Maybe you could create some gifts together for others? Perhaps you could brighten up grandma and grandpa’s day, wish an aunt or uncle “happy birthday” or maybe even show your child’s teacher how appreciative you are for their hard work and dedication to your son or daughter’s success. So what would be some great homemade gifts that you and your kids could make together? Cakes and cupcakes are great because they’re easy to make and are fun to decorate, but today we’ll focus on cookies, specifically the kind that don’t require any baking: no bake cookies. There is a big variety of ingredients you could use such as chocolate, peanut butter, oats, etc. I love a good batch of chocolate peanut butter no bake cookies myself. You can’t beat that combination! In fact, the thought of it makes me daydream of a big bowl of cookie dough ice cream mixed with extra peanut butter and topped with chocolate syrup. Yum! That actually gives me an idea for another great easy recipe for kids to write about in the future. The directions for making chocolate peanut butter no bake cookies are easy and there are only a few ingredients involved. The kids can help with the measuring of the ingredients, mixing them and spooning the mix onto the baking sheets. They’ll think they’re chefs! Store the cookies in the fridge inside a plastic container and layer the cookies between sheets of wax paper. Right before delivery place them in a decorative tin box and include a creative gift message. Have your son bring a smile to grandma’s face with a box of these decadent cookies topped with a ribbon tied around it and a message inside like, “Hope your heart is filled with joy today just like this tin is filled with these delicious cookies I made for you. I miss you Grandma!” Your daughter could deliver a gift wrapped tin box to her third grade teacher with a message such as, “You’ve helped me get good grades. Hope these cookies get a good grade too. Thank you Mrs. Carter for all your help.” You and the kids will have fun and Mrs. Carter and grandma will feel loved and appreciated. Chocolate peanut butter no bake cookies make great grandparents gifts, teacher gifts, birthday gifts, thank you gifts and more. Enjoy the quality time that you will spend with your kids. And they’ll feel good about making others smile.
